Getting to Dunster Village
by car - approx 40 mins from M5 Jct23 (Bridgwater), on the A39, just before Minehead

by train - Taunton mainline station (1hr 47mins from London Paddington and 2hrs from Birmingham), then 28 bus. For timetable see www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk
by steam train - trains from Bishops Lydeard (1 hr 10mins) or Minehead (7mins) stop at Dunster Station, and the village is a 10 min walk. A free vintage bus runs from the station on bank holidays and special days.

by foot - as part of the new England Coast Path, the path has recently been opened between Brean Down and Minehead. You can also walk to Dunster from the Macmillan Way and a network of Rights of Way. For routes see:

by cycle - you can now take the new Steam Coast Cycle Path from Minehead or Blue Anchor along the coast and then turn up Sea Lane to the village.
