The Stags Head Inn
Nestling beneath Dunster Castle, this 15th Century inn is the oldest drinking establishment in the village and offers a unique historical experience (some say there’s a resident ghost!). There are four comfortable bedrooms, two en-suite. It’s perfect for “good folk to meet, eat and enjoy a good night’s sleep”. Owners Terry and Denise welcome all and see to it that you have an enjoyable stay. The cosy bar area often has a roaring fire. The chef offers a range of dining options for all. Dogs are most welcome. The dining areas are candlelit all year, and you won’t want to miss the fragrant hidden garden, lovely on warm summer evenings.
